How many people do you know that have ever been chosen to come in for jury selection…… I’m sure it’s slim to none. Well as I sit here waiting for the court room door to open, I look around at all the people that have also been picked. Some look like they have done this before, others look like they might throw up with anxiety. I think I might be one of the ones that might throw up lol. I think it’s because everything is so intimidating, the high security, the airport like security man who uses his wand on you after you walk through his little arch way getting a red light instead of green, the massive brass doors that lead into the court room, and the unknown of where my fate will lie on the other side of those doors. I know that I shouldn’t over analyze this to much as it is my civic duty to go through this, but WHY ME????
