Wow, tomorrow is the first day back to reality for me. I am so glad I took an extra day to get caught up on some things I had been putting off. I FINALLY launched my new website, which I have been working on for a long time. So if you get a chance, check it out, www.capturediem.ca.
ANYWAYS, back to the real reason for my blog. I wanted to share my adventure this may long. I received a text on Monday morning asking if I wanted to go flying. The first thought to go through my head was, “how windy is it?” I am all about thrill and excitement but never being in a small plane made me a bit nervous…….for a second. Of course I replied with “Heck Yes!” I packed up my camera and off I went to the Okotoks Airport.
I got to the plane and opened the door, I kept thinking, “We are both going to fit in here?, It’s so small.”
Well I never realized how many things need to be checked before you actually get up in the air. I mean don’t get me wrong, I am so thankful for that. I just never thought there was a long checklist. So once we go through the list, we were on our way. There was no turning back. Thank goodness I had full trust in my pilot. Those little planes sure get up in the air fast. I was shocked. It was nothing like the big commercial planes.
Below is a few pictures from my flight. I hope you like them.
I hope you enjoyed. Thank you for stopping by!
